On behalf of themselves and others to the number of fifty families of Loyalists "being an associated Company for carrying on the fishery." Petition for a license to occupy the island of Grand Manan and small adjacent islands.
"Well supplied with craft, salt, etc. to carry on a fishery. Will prevent New Englanders from fishing there and thus insure the peace of the new settlement at Passamaquoddy."
